John Murphy graduated from Paul VI Catholic High School in 2008 after having created a clone of the game Space Invaders.
He graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in 2010 with an Associate of Science in Computer Science and from George Mason University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Game Design.
John has experience as a writer, storyteller, audio mixer.
As a programmer, John has experience with several different programming languages including Java, Javascript, C# and Assembly. This experience has allowed him to shine as a programmer on many of the game development teams he has been a part of and to adapt quickly to different situations.
John has experience with multiple game engines, including Unity, UDK, and Gamesalad, to name a few.
John has experience with web development technologies such as Javascript, Node.JS, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
His most significant accomplishment as a programmer came in 2014, when he was the Lead Programmer for the project Lucid Dreamers, a 1st Person Adventure/Puzzle Game.
In addition to that, he was an assistant programmer in 2014 for the game Hack N’ Runner, a 1st Person Endless Runner/Hack N’Slash.
